RTL Nitro Live

The RTL Group owns Nitro, a German free-to-air television channel. Nitro’s slogan is “Fernsehen fur Helden”, which means “television for heroes”. It describes itself as a “premium entertainment channel” (“Premium-Unterhaltungssender”) for a widespread audience. It is targeted primarily at men between 20 and 59 years old.

This program includes many American and old German series and films as well as the first runs of American series like Modern Family, Nurse Jackie, and Chase. RTL Nitro Now, a video-on-demand website, was launched on April 2, 2012. It allows viewers to view several shows seven days after they air.
